School Uniform
We're very proud of our school uniform and wearing it helps us all feel part of the Mayfield community.
School uniform is compulsory for our children.
The school colours are red, grey and white and all pupils are expected to wear uniform.
There is no expectation that uniform should be branded with the school logo although there is an option to purchase items with the logo on below.
Plain uniform items can be purchased in many supermarkets, high street stores or online.
In the covered bike/scooter shelter there are racks of pre-loved uniform free of charge. If you can't find what you're looking for please just ask as we have large stocks and we're always happy to help!

All items of school uniform should be clearly marked with the child's name - every term we have a mountain of lost property without names!
For safety reasons : only small stud earrings or jewellery dictated by faith should be worn. No jewellery should be worn for PE.
Autumn -Winter
- White shirt, blouse or polo shirt
- Grey or black trousers or pinafore dress or skirt
- School jumper, red jumper or red cardigan
- Black shoes
Summer (jumpers/cardigans optional in Summer!)
- White shirt, blouse or polo shirt
- Grey skirt or red check dress
- Grey or black trousers or grey shorts
- School jumper, red jumper or cardigan (optional)
- Black shoes
P.E. AND GAMES
- Plimsolls or Plain Black or White trainers
- Blue shorts
- White t-shirt
Children from Year 3 upwards will need suitable clothing for field games
e.g. trainers, plain navy or black track suit etc.
YEAR 4 SWIMMING
Children are expected to wear plain close fitting swimwear (swimsuit or brief-style swimming trunks) and a swimming hat.
